An AC motor is an electric electric motor driven by an alternating current (AC). The AC electric motor commonly includes two basic parts, another stator having coils supplied with alternating current to make a rotating magnetic field, and an internal rotor attached to the output shaft creating another rotating magnetic field. The rotor magnetic field may be produced by long term magnets, reluctance saliency, or DC or AC electrical windings.
Single-Stage AC Induction Motors & Gear Motors
AC induction motors are optimal for uni-directional and continuous operation like a conveyor system. All you need is to connect a capacitor and plug the motor into an AC power supply and the motor could be easily operated.
