Transmission Sprocket Installation
1. Install the transmitting sprocket (with belt) on the key drive equipment. 2. Install the sprocket nut. The next procedure is founded on whether a new or used nut has been installed. Note: The Tranny Sprocket nut has kept handed threads. Transform the nut counterclockwise to set up on the key drive gear. Sprocket Nut: apply crimson thread lock to the threads of the sprocket nut. Likewise smear a small quantity of red thread lock or clean engine essential oil on the inside face of the sprocket nut and the exterior face of the sprocket. Limit the application to where in fact the surfaces of both parts contact one another. Install the sprocket nut until finger limited. 3. Obtain Last Drive Sprocket Locking Application (BAKER P/N: Tool-C) to lock transmitting sprocket. Proceed the following: A. Tighten sprocket nut to 60 ft-lbs. (81 Nm). Scribe a straight range on the tranny sprocket nut ongoing the series over onto the transmission sprocket. Tighten the tranny sprocket nut yet another 35 to 40 degrees. 6.
